Johnny received a poor grade on a Lit test in school because apparently the phrase "Hey la, my boyfriend's back" doesn't appear in the actual Shakespeare version of Romeo and Juliet. So thank YOU Mark Knopfler. You wrote a beautiful and moving song but more than likely kept Johnny out of an Ivy League school.
