You know how you'll sometime get that jokey idea about the Devils or Rangers actually FLYING to go play one another?

And how you'd smirk and laugh that "Hah, that's such a stupid idea nobody would ever do that. I mean how long would you even be in the air for?"

Answer: 10 minutes.

Yes, people did.

You can track the excitement here as some Rangers fans actually flew (and the Rangers sponsored this BTW, they are culpable in this idiocy, it was their CONTEST) from LaGuardia to Newark to see the game Saturday at the Prudential Center.
