OH NOES!! The mall might not be open in time for the 2014 Super Bowl

What is society going to do?!?!? Will people coming to New Jersey's Super Bowl in February of 2014 going to actually have to stoop to shopping in dreary old Manhattan, Jersey City, Hoboken, Weehawken and places west?

Who really thought they'd want to go to a mall named American Dream Meadowlands instead of a real city to shop anyway? Unless the NFL is planning on simply matching up the Minnesota Vikings and somehow sneaking in the CFL's Edmonton Eskimos, you know, towns with a mall following.

Wayne Hasenbalg, head of the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority said he wasn't THAT worried about the mall not being opened by Super Bowl XVLMCLVIIIXCLMCXLVIII:

"People keep talking about the Super Bowl, but I'm more interested in when shovels get in the ground."

A mall, exactly what this area did not and does not need and according to local residents, do not want.
