If anybody could play a song to tug at the heartstrings, it was Jim Croce. What a terrible loss he was so early in his career. The line "She's living in L.A. with my best old ex-friend Ray, a guy she said she knew well and sometimes hated" has always had a special place in Johnny's all-time lyrical grabbers.
