The Walrus of Love and don't you forget it. Barry White, man what smoov voice. Did you know the Galveston Texas native sold over 100 million records? That's a fact. People love that romance ya know? While growing up in Los Angeles Barry had some difficulties with the law and he later said it was hearing the Elvis Presley song 'It's Now or Never' in the hoosegow that gave him the epiphany to set things right and become a singer. Barry also wrote songs and had one recored by none other than the Saturday morning show 'The Banana Splits'.
