Two Jersey City officials busted in graft sting plead guilty

Guy Catrillo was serving as a planning aide in the Jersey City Division of Planning when he accepted $15,000 in bribes. Maher Khalil was deputy director of the Jersey City Department of Health and Human Services when he accepted $72,500 in bribes. Both pled guilty as charged in Newark yesterday and now await sentencing.

Sentencing, the final step in what so many Jersey City officials are going to face. Already guilty in the in court of public opinion they now face the court's sentencing for being corrupt, classless, thieves. We suuuuure hope it was worth it, it seems so many were bought for so little. It really sickens us here at the Jersey City Desk to know our government from top to bottom is filled with so many crooks.

We should make a pleads guilty/found guilty template story and just change the names out to save ourselves some time. What poor city government we have here.
