Keep it right here for all your Hurricane Irene news

We'll be updating as we go along.

This is a SERIOUS storm and this morning has tracked slightly west, and that's bad news for we Garden Staters. Governor Christie has declared a state of emergency effective NOW. Nothing yet from Jersey City officials.

If you're leaving, go. Don't wait until roads are clogged with people and then try and get out. With all the millions of people in and around Gotham, you're playing Russian roulette with escape routes.

KNOW your flood stages and warnings. Those who live near the river should be checking storm surge reports, these things matter and you should know them.

If you're staying (like Johnny) make sure you get your batteries and food for a day or so early.

We'll keep you updated on this most serious story.
