Two international losers were arrested and introduced to the American justice system Wednesday morning as they were about to make with the spray cans near a PATH train between Journal Square and the Hackensack River Bridge. These dregs were caught with spray cans and a camera in what police call an international graffiti ring. Now we're not sure where the money comes into is, as normally when you run a ring, you have some kind of profit business plan but OK, at least they were caught.
Steven George Ward, 20, of England, and Steven M. The, 27, originally of the Netherlands but now a proud Brooklyn New York resident are now enjoying the comforts of the Hudson County lockup in Kearney. We don't know how the Hudson County Jail compares to European jails but we know they won't be getting bangers and mash or fish and chips or Bitterballen (Google it).
George Ward told authorities he was here on a "seven day holiday". Wow, lucky him, looks like it'll be extended. No doubt he'll make some new friends over at Kearney.
