Dear Hoboken EMT's, the herd was TRYING to thin itself

EMT's in Hoboken need to stop getting in the way of nature. Three Pennsylvania residents all agog at the fact they were outside Carlo's City Hall Bake Shop hoping to meet or see reality TeeVee show star Buddy Valastro of 'Cake Boss' fame up and passed out from the heat Tuesday outside the shop. We here at the Jersey City Desk try not to run stories on this mess as we try not to encourage The "Learning" Channel to come up with any more crap programs but when people are waiting outside in 102º weather and pass out on the sidewalk well we need to comment.

What is wrong with these people? Is their life THAT empty they'd risk heat stroke to see where they film a ridiculous program? Again, it's the herd trying to thin itself. We realize EMT's have a sworn duty but maybe in cases like this they could be more like NYC paramedics and when pressed into action press right back and claim it's lunchtime.

Note to citizens: If you are standing outside to see things on television and put your own health at risk Hoboken should start BILLING YOU for their services. Hey, times are hard and people are stupid, what are ya gonna do?

Johnny made it through an entire story without calling Hoboken Fuho...almost.
