Are you men the police? No ma'am, Mall Cops

Two Willowbrook Mall security guards (hereafter known as mall cops) located in Wayne, chased a carload of shoplifters from their mall at speed, through at least one red light, amber mall cop lamps flashing as the mall cops stuck to the suspected shoplifters like glue into Montville, three towns over where the chase finally ended. Police in Montville actually saw the stop come to it's end and radioed their town dispatch that another town was ending a pursuit in Wayne. It wasn't until they drove up to assist the out of town lawmen they realized that Beavis and Butthead worked for the 'Willowbrook Mall Security' as was painted on their SUV.

The three female shoplifting suspects were not only unable to shake mall cops but now face some big charges. The Daily Record picks it up:

"Shaneeta Moore, and her sister, Shana, both of Bronx, Tiffany Ouedrago also of the Bronx, all were charged by Montville police with receiving stolen property and conspiracy to receive stolen property. Shaneeta Moore also was issued several motor vehicle summonses for improper passing, failure to observe a traffic signal, driving while suspended, careless driving and reckless driving."

And they couldn't evade the amber flashers. They will live with that forever.

The Willowbrook Mall management, you know, the guys who picked up the phone from Montville police and said "THEY DID WHAT?" aren't as amused as Johnny. They promised to handle the matter internally.
