Maybe if Governor Christie spent less time brewing his hate for teachers in school he would have learned to follow simple directions

Governor Christie and current Education Commissioner (and former Jersey City mayor) Bret Schundler have utterly and completely FAILED to secure some $400 million federal dollars for New Jersey schools. Gee Guv, maybe if you spent less time taking things out on public education and applied the 'paying attention to details' lesson you learned in the public schools that educated you here this wouldn't have happened. Public schools should wither on the vine seems to be your attitude.

First off, Schundler should resign and if he won't somebody needs to show him the door. He's Education Commissioner and thus this falls to him. Since he won't resign and Governor Christie most likely will give him a pay raise for his stupidity, somebody needs to show just what MORONS are running the show. Because of the Christie/Schundler failure, New Jersey can try to come up with an alternate $400 million dollars. Gee, we wonder where that will come from.

So what EXACTLY happened? Here's the sad truth:

New Jersey fell three points short of receiving "Race to the Top" funding, in part because of an error by the Christie administration in the state’s application, records obtained by The Star-Ledger show. One five-point question on the application asked for budget information comparing the 2008 and 2009 school years. However, the state submitted information comparing the current year to 2011.

So Ohio finishes 10th and gets money and New Jersey, who can't follow SIMPLE directions, finishes 11th and gets ZERO dollars.

Governor Christie, you and Schundler owe this state $400 million dollars. You have one week to find it before we send Paulie Walnuts to find you.
