The Dalai Lama is coming to Newark this Friday

Religious leader and China thorn the Dalai Lama will be visiting Newark this Friday in what is described as a "three-day summit that will advocate for nonviolence in everything from national debate to kitchen table conversations."

While the Dalai Lama is in town for the three days the Newark Museum will put all of it's world-renowned Tibetan collection on display.

You'd better look into this and get tickets to all the events post haste good people:

More than 3,000 people — 1,000 of them children — are expected to visit the New Jersey Performing Arts Center, the summit’s primary venue, between Friday and Sunday, organizers said. The event’s 106 speakers range from actors Edward Norton and Goldie Hawn to activists Earl "Street Doctor" Best and Dashaun "Jiwe" Morris.
