Jersey City will be giving away free rabies shots for your pets in May. The schedule is as follows:
Saturday, May 7, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Mary Bethune Center Parking Lot, 140 Martin Luther King Drive;
Sunday, May 15, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Pershing Field, behind the ice-skating rink, 201 Central Avenue;
and Sunday, May 22, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Lincoln Park, in the parking lot adjacent to the track;

“Your pets are part of your family and the best way to protect your own health, and the health of your family and friends, is to avoid exposure to rabies and keep your pets up-to-date on their rabies shots." said Mayor Jerramiah Healy. We couldn't agree more.
