The band with the shortest name in rock history to be sure (well you could count 'M' but X is so far up the dial on the cool list they trump 'M') performing 'Johnny Hit and Run Paulene'. X stopped performing this song for a very long time when they felt the wrong message was being taken from it. John Doe said too many frat boy types were pumping their fists in some kind of tribute to the character 'Johnny' in this song who is really nothing more than a crank addled rapist. Leave it to frat boys to ruin everything and enjoy date rape. John Doe and Exene Cervenka on vocals for this one rock and rollers. Billy Zoom on snarling geetar and D.J. Bonebrake on skins.
