What's the problem officer? He's multitasking

Union City's favorite son William Vadi Jr. is an enterprising type of guy. Not only was he out looking to burgle a home in the Heights, and of course carried with him the requisite tools for the job, he also was planning according to Union City police to sell the 7 packets of heroin he had on his person at the time of his arrest. To top it off, he was doing it in broad daylight. Police were patrolling near Palisade Avenue and Franklin Street when they say they saw Vadi try to pry his way into a home. Not being successful he wandered up the street and was confronted by Union City's finest. A short foot chance ensued until Vadi stopped running and told police "You got me, I give up". Before he gave up he tossed seven plastic packets of 'suspected' heroin on the ground police say he intended to sell.

Vadi had a full Friday afternoon and in his short multitasking stroll through the neighborhoods and racked up an impressive list of charges: burglary, possession of burglary tools, possession of a controlled dangerous substance near a school, possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute near a public property and resisting arrest.

All in a days work for an enterprising young man trying to make his way in these hard times.
