An update on the bow and arrow shooter who we'll refer to as "Eric the Plumber"

Now, we're not sure if unlike the famed GOP plant and idealogue "Joe the Plumber" Eric Collins has his plumbing license (and has paid his back taxes) but accused Bronx bow and arrow shooter Collins pled not guilty to the charge he was the one who accidentally shot Denise Delgado-Brown in the stomach last weekend while she helped a friend out of her car outside the Frances Schervier Nursing Care Center.

You'll recall police detectives said when questioned Collins began acting "squirrelly" and sweating bullets which is when police decided to ask him for a formal statement. Police recovered four arrows and a quiver from Collins home across the street from the Nursing Care Center. They say Collins was not aiming at Delgado-Brown, the shot was a ricochet off of the fenceline on his property.

Delgado-Brown said she would have forgiven Collins if he'd merely checked on her condition: "If it was an accident he would have come over to me and asked if I was all right," she said. "I would have forgiven him. Police say if Collins didn't hear Delgado-Brown screaming it was only because he didn't want to.

Collins is charged with assault and reckless endangerment.
