3:58 of the first overtime, Darren Helm (who has never scored a regular season goal and yet now has four career playoff goals--the greatest discrepancy to start an NHL career ever) from Tomas Homstrom and Brett Lebda sends Johnny's (and Trixie and most of the old Ypsi City Desk crew) beloved Red Wings onto the Stanley Cup Final for the 6th time in 14 years. The last four trips their record is 16-3.
Take it away Mr. Helm
Henrik Zetterberg will make a fine captain one day, he's already got the 'just say no' to the Clarence Campbell Bowl down pat.

and onto the PENGUIN hunting!! Wings in 5 games is the prediction.
Gotta admire the deep bench of the Red Wings - players step up in big ways. Helm's had an amazing playoff run - so happy for him!
I'm calling Wings in 6. And much crying from Cindy Crosby and Gary Buttman.
I love our chances, I do. Even coming back off of injury the Wings don't need Lidstrom and Datsyuk to produce offensively, just play solid shut 'em down defense on Malkin and Crosby and we'll be OK
